Principles and Ethics of Business Brokerage, 4 hrs,  #1050

Educational and professional guidelines provide a uniform standard of conduct among business brokers and clients which also include interaction with professionals in finance, banking, accounting, law, real estate, appraisers and other services used by business brokers.  Topics include regulatory bodies that control and/or regulate activities of business brokers, professional ethics, conduct and the twenty articles of the TABB Code of Ethics, in addition to the 10 commandments of safe brokerage.  A business broker will become familiar with or have factual knowledge of private and/or personal details of a clients business operations and financials. What, when or to who are you allowed, if at all, to disclose those details?  to know and apply the answer with good judgment becomes the mark of a professional.

Introduction to Business Brokerage -  Two- Day Boot Camp with 8 hr days   16 credit hours for TREC #41575, TREC provider #291 and for TABB #1000.

Initial training to become a Business Broker taught by seasoned leaders in the profession. Learn about the role, value and ethics of the Business Broker in the process of finding sellers, preparing listings, finding qualified buyers, negotiations and closing sales. You will become knowledgeable in the skill levels associated with the various Business Broker Associations, certifications and specialties. 

Pricing Small Businesses and the Valuation Process, 4 hrs,  #1040

A 4-hour overview of the business valuation process for small or mid-sized businesses with a focus on the professional techniques used to price a business for sale. You will learn when to use different value approaches as a foundation to developing your business pricing skills.
